Environmental Policy
ADMAS Ltd is an occupational and environmental health
consultancy dealing with asbestos surveys and analysis. We also
carry out emission monitoring, noise monitoring and personal monitoring.
ADMAS Ltd recognises that although its role leads to protecting/improving
the environment, its operations do also have negative environmental
effects.
As a result of our effect on the environment we are
committed to ongoing improved environmental performance and preventing
pollution.
ADMAS Ltd will aim to adhere to all relevent environmental
regulations, laws and codes of practice.
In order to achieve our environmental goals we will
implement our policies through a clear and coordinated environmental
management system.
SPECIFIC POLICIES
The following headings show the main areas ADMAS Ltd
aims to address:
Energy Use
We will endevour to use environmentally safe and sustainable
energy sources to meet our needs. We will invest in improved energy
efficiency products.
Resource Consumption
Where possible ADMAS Ltd will seek to limit its environmental
impact by the use of sustainable resources. We will conserve resources
with efficient use and careful planning.
Recycling
Sustainable waste management is a key component of
our environmental strategy and as such we will recycle materials
whenever possible.
Disposal of Waste
We will seek to minimise waste, epecially hazardous
waste, whenever possible. All waste produced will be disposed of
through safe and responsible methods.
Training Personnel
ADMAS Ltd employees will be given appropriate guidance
and training to implement our environmental policy.
Transportation
Via coordinated route planning and appropriate fleet
vehicles we realise the dual benefits of reduced fuel consumption
and lower exhaust emissions.
Targets, Goals and Auditing
ADMAS Ltd will set achievable environmental targets
and goals in order to continually improve our environmental performance.
In order to monitor our performance and ensure the implementation
of our environmental policy an annual self-evaluation will be conducted.
